God rewards the faithful. If God could reward Joseph in prison, then He can reward you on your job. God doesn’t promote people because they do everything right or because they are perfect. He rewards people because of their faithfulness. If I’m faithful in the little things then the big things will come.
It’s the possessive people that wants to know where you’ve been and what you’ve been doing. They want to know whom you’ve been talking to as they check your cell phone calls. They are insecure and hold on so tight that they smother the life out of you. When you know who you are in Christ you don’t have to be insecure. You are somebody.
Never compare yourself to someone else. God made you to be unique. In fact He broke the mold when He made you.You have just the right lips and just the right hips. God didn’t call you to be like anybody else. You are an original and not a copy.
Faith isn’t faith until you praise Him in the middle of your storm. When you praise Him, He will set ambushes against all your enemies. The enemy of discouragement has to leave when you praise the Lord. When the praises go up the peace of God comes down.
I was walking on the water and doing the impossible, but I started to sink. It looked like I was going to drown but He snatched me out. My clothes were all wet and He snatched me out. The odds were against me but He snatched me out. He’s bringing me out of my trouble.
I’m so glad I serve a God that lifts me up when I fail. He lifts me when I’m hurting. He lifts me when I’m hurting. I’m so glad I serve a God that lifts me when I’m going through the storms of life. When others walk away He will never leave me or forsake me. Thank ya Jesus.
The disciples were going to the other side of the lake and a storm arose. They were going somewhere and a storm arose. The reason a storm has come into your life is because you’re going somewhere and the enemy is trying to get you to turn back. Don’t quit now.
My steps are ordered by the Lord. All I have to do is keep walking and I will walk right out of my trouble. I may be in a storm but I’m still walking. The wind is blowing but I’m still walking. I don’t know why the money hasn’t come in yet but I’m walking towards Him.
If you are going to rise above average you can’t be hanging around negative or critical people. If you’re going to soar with the eagles, you have to leave the prairie chickens behind. I’m talking about leaving your old bar friends and booty calls behind that don’t want the things of God.
Peter was walking on the water and a storm arose. He took his eyes off of Jesus and he began to sink. It was fear that caused him to fail. You may be in a storm, but get your eyes back on Jesus. He’s the author and finisher of your faith. Fear not for He is with you.
