When you are climbing a mountain, the higher you go the tougher it gets. It’s the steepest just before you reach the top. If things are tough today, it must mean you are close to the top. It must mean you’re almost there. Give it one more push and start praising Him.
God can bless you even if you’re in the fiery furnace of life. He can bless you even if people are against you. He can bless you even if society is against you. His favor will give you an advantage.
No matter how impossible your situation may seem, don’t ever think it’s impossible. What ever is impossible with man is possible with God. When you think of Jesus, you should be thinking of the God that can do anything but fail. He’s your right now help in time of trouble.
Daniel prayed for 20 days and nothing happened. But on day 21 God sent His angels and pushed the enemy back. Even when it looks like God isn’t listening, believe that help is on the way. He may not come when you want Him, but He always shows up on time.
Discouragement has a way of stopping our faith. We have to fight the good fight of faith or the enemy will win. Weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. I think I will praise Him until my morning comes. The joy of the Lord is my strength.
Even if your dreams have been shattered, everything is subject to change when you serve the Lord Jesus Christ. He’s working all things for your good. Your answer may be delayed but it cannot be denied. A shift is taking place in the spirit and He’s working it out.
Depression is a big problem today. Jesus said, “If you keep my commandments and walk in love, His joy will be in you.” Maybe you need to forgive someone in order to walk in love. Maybe you are angry about something. Let it go. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
David told us to enter His gates with thanksgiving. Anytime we need something from God it must begin with thanks. You can complain if you want to but I need too many miracles to complain. Thank you Lord for all you’ve done. You’ve been good to me.
There is something about a thankful heart that moves God. Jesus took the loaves and two fish. He gave thanks and God multiplied it. Instead of complaining about your situation, give Him thanks and watch Him multiply what you do have. Oh give thanks unto the Lord.
Lazarus died. Jesus stood in front of his tomb and gave God thanks in advance. We don’t thank God for trouble. But we thank Him in spite of the trouble. There is something about being thankful that moves God. “Lord I thank You for bringing me a mighty long way.”
